How did you know you wanted to become a Bella Bridesmaid owner?
I worked at the Madison location and fell in love with everything about Bella Bridesmaids.
What did you do prior to Bella Bridesmaids?
I have loved fashion since I was a little girl.
I learned how to sew at 8 years old and began making clothes for myself and dolls. When I was 15 I got accepted into a tech school through high school for fashion and textiles where I ended up falling in love with formal wear.
I continued designing and even showcased a couple of collections at the Baltimore Fashion Week while I was in high school. I was accepted to the fashion design program at FIT in Manhattan and interned for a magazine where I gained a lot of knowledge about the industry. I always found myself falling back into formal and bridal wear.
When I finished college I produced a bridal gown collection and worked on couture wedding gowns, but my love for design began to dwindle.
Then I came across Bella Bridesmaids. I fell in love with it and it relit that fire I had. The people, the brand, the atmosphere.
That’s when I knew I wanted to be a Bella owner.
What’s your favorite thing about working with your clients?
Seeing how happy and excited they are about the dresses and progress as they are leaving the store. It’s one of the most rewarding things I could ever ask for.
What’s your favorite restaurant or attraction in your city to pair with a bridesmaids appointment?
There are so many good places to eat in Carlisle! Redd has amazing BBQ, Grazery is super yummy for veggie-friendly meals. Our neighbors are a Bed and Breakfast and they make the BEST breakfasts ever!
