We may be back from New York Bridal Market, but we still can't stop dreaming of all the beautiful dresses we saw this past week.
But seriously, they are keeping us up at night!
Here are the top 3 trends you must know straight from the designers' showrooms:
1. Separates
It's official. The bridesmaid world has collided with all things ready to wear and WE. ARE. PUMPED! Jenny Yoo literally made our jaws drop with her cozy knits and printed skirts. The designer kept her signature feminine style but knocked it out of the park with truly wearable (and gorgeous!) separates. You go, Jenny!
Another Bella separate favorite goes out to the ladies at LulaKate. Their new Kenzie top is the perfect shell to pair with either a cocktail or floor length skirt. Get ready to mix and match with LulaKate to create a unique look for each bridesmaid. Plus they can wear the top again to get more bang for your buck.
2. Sparkle
Metallics are hotter than ever this season thanks to designers like Amsale. Both her namesake collection and Nouvelle Amsale line are filled with sequins and liquid metal. While the Amsale bridesmaid has always been cool, these new metallic fabrics and colors have raised the bar. Shine on, Amsale. Shine on!
Let's be honest, Adrianna Papell's middle name should be Sparkle. Her collection was a show stopper, so get ready to add some shine to your bridal party with Adrianna Papell.
MAJOR shout out to twobirds! They have created the most perfect shade of gold AND we learned a new strapless tie (video coming soon). We promise this is a GAME CHANGER!
3. Sexy Backs
We can't talk about sexy backs without talking about Jim Hjelm (and our boyfriend JT of course!) Head designer Hayley Paige knows that backs are the new black so get ready to show things off. With cool cut outs and sexy straps, no one will be able to take their eyes off you as you strut...I mean walk...down that aisle.
Joanna August keeps managing to capture our hearts with more romantic styles. This time, she has some seriously bangin' backs- so start practicing your over the shoulder poses, ladies. Plus she has two new colors this season, Moondance and Ramble on Rose. All you lilac and deep red fans can get in on this Joanna August action!
Another fan favorite is (and will always be) Monique Lhuillier. She made sure to back it up this season with cut outs and sheer panels. Her collection also featured plenty more color options so you can create the perfect color palette of tulle and chiffon.
