We are very excited to announce that we paired up with The Dessy Group to create an exclusive collection, only sold at Bella Bridesmaids!

We chatted with the Vice President of The Dessy Group, Cindy Dessy, and co-franchisor of Bella Bridesmaids, Erin Wolf, about how it all came together!

How did the Dessy for Bella Bridesmaids line get started?

Cindy: We have always had a great working relationship with the Bella franchise and it was a natural fit. We worked closely with the Bella stores to design a line that focuses on what works for their customers and what doesn’t. The fabrications, colors and styling were all based on direct feedback from each Bella showroom owner!

Erin: We love The Dessy Group for their deep catalog of fabrics & colors, consistent quality, terrific customer service and always on time delivery schedule. We wanted to extend all of those positives to an 8 piece collection of our own that we knew our clients would connect with. We're bringing clean lines in texture-rich fabrics to enhance the already strong core collections.

What inspires you and designer, Vivian Dessy Diamond, when creating new styles?

C: Our designs are always inspired by trends we see every day. We look to the red carpet, ready-to-wear and even vintage clothing for inspiration. Ultimately, we distill these trends and ideas into something we think will appeal and work for the modern bridal party.

Who is the Dessy for Bella Bridesmaids client?

C: Every bride and groom! No, seriously, we are in a unique position in our industry. Our core business has been and will always be, bridesmaids. We offer lines at every price point, in the largest range of colors and fabrications in the industry. You can mix and match styles across these lines as they utilize the same color cards. There is quite literally something for everyone.

E: Our thoughts exactly! At Bella, we are “in a relationship” with bridesmaid dresses- no side chicks, just bridesmaid love. We believe in creating an experience for brides and bridesmaids to find the perfect look for each maid. The Dessy for Bella Bridesmaids line gives us the tools (aka awesome dresses) to do just that!
