Margaritaville Hotel
Take a fresh tropical cocktail with a citrus twist, and turn it into an event space. The result is the Margaritaville Hotel.
We love it because it’s located in the heart of downtown, yet when lounging poolside, you can’t help but feel as if you’re on an island somewhere.
It’s a convenient one-stop shop, the perfect place to stay and play while celebrating your big day.

Southall Meadows

What is it about an old barn that’s so romantic and appealing?
Is it the high, expansive ceilings? The cracks that have started to form between the wood planks and the way sunlight filters through? The way a large ornate chandelier positively pops and makes the space warm, romantic, and inviting?
Located in Franklin, Southall Meadows is over 200 acres of hills, trees, a winding river, and yes — a 100-year-old barn.
Features include:
We love the clean lines of the modern event hall. The huge glass windows invite the outdoors in as sunlight floods the room. In two words, it’s minimal and elegant. And, of course, the barn is absolutely dreamy.
The Bell Tower
What sets a Nashville wedding apart from any other wedding?
A whiskey-tasting room, of course.
The Bell Tower sits in the Nashville downtown area. Its large windows, upper mezzanine, and exposed beams allude to its historical relevance.
Offerings include:
We love the high ceilings and touches of dark wood finishes against the creamy sun-splashed walls.
The building – with its towering brick and window façade – is a statement unto itself.
14Tenn
Built in 1923 as part of the Belle Meade Hosiery Mill, this event venue is a gorgeous, simple, and elegant space.
Adorn it with flowers and lights, or let the stark elegance of clean lines, wood floors, and natural light speak for themselves.
The venue:
We can’t get enough of the high ceilings with the white exposed framing.
Vanderbilt
You don’t have to be a Vanderbilt alum to get married on campus; everyone is welcome. As a venue, Vanderbilt is home to stunning brick buildings, a choice of indoor or out, and close proximity to all the fun downtown Nashville offers.
This makes Vanderbilt a convenient and epic venue choice.
There are:
We love the regal architecture (is anyone else getting Harry Potter vibes?), and if you met your sweetheart on campus, this is a no-brainer.
Cheekwood
Cheekwood Estate and Gardens brings some ethereal magic into your big day. This lovely venue has areas perfect for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception.
Not to mention, guests can enjoy views of the rolling hills of Tennessee that lie beyond the lush perennials and terraced lawns.
We love the selection of settings available. Each accommodates a different number of guests and has a different feel, from country club to English garden.
Some of our favorites?
The reflecting pool has beautiful accent sculptures, stonework, and views of the museum and surrounding grounds. For many soon-to-be brides, it brings to mind Greek architecture from another time.
The wisteria arbor has an upper and lower level, shrouded in vines and connected by a cascading double staircase.
The Loggia has floor-to-ceiling windows and crisp white walls and overlooks the Swan Lawn and Swan Fountain.
Howe garden is like an English fairy garden, perfect for a cottagecore aesthetic. It’s complete with stonework, secret garden paths, and the sound of water from a nearby pond.

Hermitage
For well over a century, this has been one of the top choices when it comes to Nashville special events and wedding spots, and it’s not hard to see why.
Within the walls of this historic building lies a stately ballroom, glass-ceilinged lobby, and veranda with high hand-painted arched ceilings. We love the “wow” factor, and we’re certain your guests will, too.
The perks include the following:
Elegant and grand, your guests will be awestruck the second they enter the Hermitage Hotel.
Cordelle
Imagine a gorgeous sprawling home in the heart of Nashville’s city center. It has a large lush green backyard, polished hardwood floors, high white ceilings, and dark accents.
The Cordelle is just that, and on your wedding day, it’s yours. Use the indoor space to tie the knot and the outdoor space for the wedding reception.
You’ll enjoy these perks (and more!):
We absolutely love the way this space gives intimate backyard vibes in the most polished, gorgeous setting.
Grand Ole Opry
This event center is as iconic as it gets when it comes to country music history. That's why we had to pinch ourselves at the thought of tying the knot on the stage graced by legends Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, and Elvis Presley, to name a few.
Besides the theater, there are other venue options:
We’re still in awe that you can celebrate your big day in such a beautiful, quintessentially country venue. We adore everything about saying “I do” on such a famous stage.
The Union Station Nashville Yards
What started in the 1800s as a bustling train terminal has become a luxury hotel.
Celebrate your big day under 65-foot stained glass ceilings with ornate arches and sculptural elements. Or opt for the outdoor terrace!
This venue accommodates intimate and large gatherings and indoor or outdoor wedding options.
Think of the history of this spot. It’s easy to picture what it was like in the past, treating you and your guests to a brief escape into times gone by.
We’re obsessed with the boho wedding craze! Dress your girls to the nines with these 9 boho bridesmaid dresses, from romantic to minimal.
Country Music Hall of Fame
Ok, if all the other spots weren’t so fab, we could have said we saved the best wedding ceremony space for last. Because c’mon! The Country Music hall of Fame is about as Nashville – and cool – as it gets.
Choose from their gorgeous venue selection, which ranges from city chic vibes to a classic country setting.
This option features:
We love the CMA Theater, which accommodates up to 776 in a prime theater setting. Meanwhile, the BMI Hall, located on the 4th floor, boasts views of the city below through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The event hall and courtyard are superb, too.
Conclusion
Whether you’re a local or this is a destination wedding, there’s no shortage of full-service historic venues and sleek modern spots. They’re perfect for indoor or outdoor ceremonies and all different tastes and styles.
Looking for something a little more rural?
Don’t forget to check the surrounding areas, too. Other gorgeous destinations include Lebanon, Murfreesboro, and other areas in middle Tennessee.
