Do you love elegant architecture with wrought iron balconies wrapped in sweet-scented floral jasmine and wisteria vines?

Are you a history buff who loves nothing more than a live band where everyone’s dancing and having a good time?

Do you dream of getting married somewhere with a unique, distinctive flair and heritage … without needing a passport and a long international flight?

You do? Well, New Orleans, Louisiana is here, ready and waiting for you.

Those who’ve been here before already know. It’s an incredible place, a vibrant feast for the senses. Marriage is a celebration, and celebrating is something NOLA does really, really well.

Because of this, there are a ton of next-level event venues to make your special day stand out in a big, big way.

These are our ten favorite New Orleans wedding venues!

1. The Nopsi Hotel

With high ceilings, brick walls, huge arched pane glass windows, this location has it all. Including a dedicated staff who work with you,  transforming this flexible event space to match your vision, bringing your dream wedding to life.

This venue:

• Offers breathtaking indoor and outdoor options
• Seats up to 600 guests
• Has on-site accommodation and amenities

We can’t get over the variety of spaces at this location. The ballroom chandeliers are epic, and we love that its recent restoration pays homage to the building's historical significance.

    2. The Chicory

This historic venue has been around since 1852. Before becoming a sought-after event space, the Chicory started as a coffee warehouse.

Its name pays homage to the process of adding chicory to the roast to stretch the coffee supply further.

    This venue:

    • Accommodates up to 400 guests
    • Boasts 20,000 square feet
    • Offers multiple wedding package options

We’re in love with the exposed beams, white-washed brick walls, and gas lanterns that emit soft, warm, romantic light.
